RFBF grant: Machine learning the thermodynamics of complex materials with ab initio accuracy

We won a grant from the Russian Foundation for Basic Research (20-53-12012). This project (with our colleagues and collaborators from the University of Stuttgart, Germany, and Delft University of Technology, Netherlands) is dedicated to the ab initio investigation of the fundamental physical finite-temperature excitation mechanisms and their mutual coupling effects that determine the basic thermodynamic properties in complex materials. This work is based on the interatomic potentials, that are being developed in our group.
