Development of short low-complexity decoded error-correcting codes for IoT

Project period: 2017

Customer: Strizh and nWave (UK)

Description: Within this project we constructed low rate, short length binary LDPC codes for a parking system. We developed a new method to construct such codes: in contrast to LDPC codes of large length we took into consideration not only an iterative threshold, but also the number of short cycles in the graph. As a result our codes are 0.7 dB better in comparison to existing solution.
